The Dictionary project

At Rotary E-Club of Bangalore, we believe that facilitating basic education with a little financial contribution is one of the noblest acts which many of us could easily do.

It pains us to see that many underprivileged students in thousands of government schools across the state are unable to afford a dictionary. As a result, their zeal for pursuit of knowledge sadly stops short unable to comprehend large passages of text. Under the Rotary District 3190 supported project, we are striving to freely distribute school dictionaries ( English - English & English - Kannada ) to as many classrooms as possible in Government schools & Government aided schools in and around the city of Bangalore.

"Train the teachers" event @ Hoskote

The Rotary E-Club conducted a successful training session for nearly 50 teachers of Government schools in Hoskote .

The project was conducted in association with "Sikshana Foundation" on the 8th of September in commemoration of "International Literacy Day".
